What are the advantages of fireproof aluminum-plastic panels?
Aug 20,2022
The fireproof aluminum-plastic panel contains almost no other alloys in the aluminum, has a high aluminum content, and is easy to process, making it relatively inexpensive. Aluminum alloys with other metals are not easy to process, have much higher strength, and therefore are more expensive. The ultra-peelable fireproof aluminum-plastic panel uses a new process to improve the critical technical indicator of peel strength to a good state, correspondingly enhancing the flatness and weather resistance of the fireproof aluminum-plastic panel.
This material is easy to process aluminum-plastic panels, weighing only about 3.5-5.5 kilograms per square meter, which can reduce the damage caused by earthquakes and is easy to handle. Its superior construction performance allows for cutting, trimming, planing, and bending into various shapes such as arcs and right angles using simple carpentry tools. It can be modified in various ways in collaboration with designers, and installation is simple and quick, reducing construction costs.
1. Excellent fire resistance: The core material of the aluminum-plastic panel is flame-retardant PE plastic, and the aluminum layers on both sides are very difficult to ignite. Therefore, it is a safe fireproof material that meets the fire resistance requirements of building codes.
2. Impact resistance: It has strong impact resistance and high toughness, and the surface paint will not be damaged due to bending. It is resistant to impact and will not be damaged by wind and sand in areas with heavy winds and sand.
Very strong weather resistance: Due to the use of PVDF fluorocarbon coating based on Kynar-500, it has unique advantages in weather resistance. Whether in hot sunlight or cold wind and snow, it will not damage its beautiful appearance and will not fade for 20 years. The coating is uniform and the colors are bright. After chemical treatment and the application of Henkel film technology, the adhesion of the paint to the aluminum-plastic panel is uniform.
The precautions for the construction of fireproof aluminum-plastic panels are as follows:
1. When installing aluminum-plastic panels, they should be stored or installed in a dry and ventilated place to avoid water accumulation, and the ambient temperature should not exceed 70°C. Avoid installation in abnormal environments such as smoke, strong wind and sand, radiation, harmful gases, and chemical environments to ensure normal use.
2. If the edges need to be bent, the stress should be uniform and formed in one go. If bent multiple times, the aluminum panel may break.
3. When used for curved surface decoration, various shapes such as cutting, trimming, and bending into arcs and right angles can be completed using carpentry tools. Apply force slowly to gradually achieve the desired curve, and do not attempt to do it all at once. The bending radius should be greater than 30 cm.
4. The protective film should be removed within 45 days after UV spraying of the aluminum-plastic panel; otherwise, the protective film may age due to prolonged exposure to sunlight, which may lead to glue leakage.
5. If the surface of the fireproof aluminum-plastic panel is contaminated during construction or use, it can be gently cleaned with a neutral detergent or alcohol. It is prohibited to use strong acids or strong alkalis for cleaning, as this may damage the panel surface.
6. Fireproof aluminum-plastic panels are divided into indoor and outdoor panels. The surface coatings of the two types of panels are different, which determines their application in different occasions. Indoor commonly used panels have a resin coating on the surface; outdoor aluminum-plastic panels generally use fluororubber coatings with strong aging resistance and UV resistance, which are more expensive. Do not use indoor aluminum-plastic panels outdoors, as this will accelerate the aging process and cause discoloration. Special attention should be paid to this.
